Did RuPaul just cast the first queen for season 17 of Drag Race?
In a Drag Race twist, RuPaul may have just cast the first queen for season 17 in front of a live audience. On 10 March, Mama Ru was hosting the latest date of her ‘The House of Hidden Meanings’ book tour in Atlanta, Georgia.
In a video that is circulating online, Hormona Lisa can be seen looking pretty in pink in full drag at the front of the audience talking to Ru.
The queen appears to explain that she had previously applied to be on the Emmy-winning drag show. “Well we will just have to get you on!” Ru then tells an ecstatic crowd.
The Tennessee queen then says: “I have my [audition] tape on a flash drive in my purse if you want it?” Under the queen’s most recent Instagram picture, someone has already made their prediction for the outcome of season 17: “Took a pic with you at RuPaul’s event in Atlanta.
