The Duchess of York, Fergie, took part in a rare TV interview where she agreed to join the This Morning team as an agony aunt to share advice on matters of the heart.

Holly Willoughby, 42, extended the invitation for Fergie to join the team after hearing about the royal's new book.The 63 year old Duchess appeared on Thursday's This Morning to discuss her new romance novel, A Most Intriguing Lady, which is the second book published by the royal.

Her first, Her Heart for a Compass, was released in 2021.The novel is said to be “Jane Austen meets Peaky Blinders with a little bit of 50 Shades”.

After chatting with the royal, Holly extended an invitation for Fergie to return to This Morning, to help viewers with their love dilemmas.
