Gemma Clare Collins (born 31 January 1981) is an English media personality and businesswoman. In 2011, she began appearing on the ITVBe reality series The Only Way Is Essex. Following a brief appearance on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! (2014), Collins has appeared in various television programmes including Celebrity Big Brother (2016), Celebs Go Dating (2018), and Dancing on Ice (2019). In 2019, she began starring in her own reality series and hosting a podcast on BBC Sounds.

It's not the first health scare for the family, as Alan was hospitalised after he and Gemma's mother Joan contracted Covid-19 in late 2020.The ordeal had a huge impact on his health and left him with scarring in his lungs as he suffered from long Covid.
Gemma said at the time: "Things are so difficult. It is relentless at the moment with everything going on. I am finding myself juggling so many plates. “It’s been a real shock to myself and my family with my dad being in hospital.” During his battle, Alan fought for his life in hospital but he was later discharged shortly before his daughter Gemma’s 40th birthday.
Former TOWIE star Gemma doesn't just have a personal relationship with her dad but a business one too, after Alan began dealing with her finances in 2020.
He took over after her Brentwood, Essex boutique went bust owing £76,000 to creditors including nearly £65,000 to the HMRC. She previously shared that her dad gave her a monthly allowance of £3,000 in order to get her spending under control - after she spent a whopping £50,000 in two months.
