This Morning star Holly Willoughby has reportedly reached out to her pal James Martin to lend her support, after a recording leaked last week heard him swear at staff members 42 times during a Zoom call.

The recording, which dates back to 2018, featured the TV chef embarking on a ten minute rant after the drain at his home was blocked while filming for James Martin’s Saturday Morning - something which he claimed caused £30,000-worth of damage in total.

In the lengthy tirade, James blasted the team that had been working on the show in what was considered to be an act of bullying, as he declared they should be “f**king fried” before punishing them to take their lunch break in the “f***ing rain”.

The incident prompted an investigation by ITV, which culminated in a “stern warning” from the network over his perceived bullying and which prompted James to publicly apologise for his behaviour.
