Slaycation: World of Wonder teases new series starring six international Drag Race queens
Drag Race fans rejoice! Another sickening spin-off is in the works. On 13 September, World of Wonder and the broadcaster of Canada’s Drag Race – Crave – surprised fans when they announced their new drag-tastic series Slaycation.
In the upcoming show, six “fabulous, larger-than-life queens” from across the expansive Drag Race franchise will come together for a snow-filled vacation at a Canadian winter cabin. “Winter is coming…Get ready for a new original series full of drama, fun, twists, and plenty of shenanigans in this winter wonderland,” World of Wonder teased on Instagram.
In addition to their relaxing winter getaway, the group of queens will also be tasked with putting on a fierce show for the mountain town’s local residents.
In a statement, World of Wonder bosses Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato gave further insight into the series and what fans can expect. “In Slaycation, the queens get to let their hair down and truly relax as themselves while enjoying some fierce and frosty winter shenanigans.
