Resource Center has opened a new location near its recently opened Oak Lawn Place affordable senior housing. Located at 2603 Inwood Road, Resource Center will offer primary medical care, mental health counseling and a comprehensive range of health services.

It will also merge existing services from the Nelson-Tebedo Clinic on Cedar Springs Road with the programs and services of the Harold Simmons Foundation Health Campus currently at 2701 Reagan Street.

The new facility is across the street from Inwood/Love Field Station. The Cedar Springs Road location is closed and the Simmons Health Campus property is for sale.

The new facility will provide a variety of programs including: • Primary Health Care: Comprehensive medical services to ensure our community members have access to the care they need. • Mental Health Counseling: A diverse, culturally-competent staff providing in-person or telehealth care • Sexual Health Services: Including STI testing and treatment, PrEP care, and resources for a healthy life. • Food Pantry: Addressing food insecurity by providing nutritious groceries. • Hot Meals Program: Offering hot, healthy meals to our community members. • Pharmacy: Conveniently located inside for easy access. • Ryan White-funded services: Including intake and eligibility; case management; medical case management, and medical care. • And More: We are committed to providing a holistic approach to health and wellness. — David Taffet
