A deleted scene from 9-1-1 season seven has given a glimpse into Buck and Tommy’s future, and fans are freaking out. Throughout the show’s seventh outing, the Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Tim Minear-created series blessed LGBTQIA+ fans with an abundance of queer-led stories – including Evan ‘Buck’ Buckley (Oliver Stark) coming out as bisexual.
The exciting moment took place in the fourth episode (‘Buck, Bothered and Bewildered’), which featured the fan-favourite character sharing an (unexpected) intimate moment with former firefighter and LAFD Air Operations pilot Tommy (Lou Ferrigno Jr.).
When Buck tells Tommy that he’s been trying to “get his attention” (the sexual chemistry was, undeniably, off the goddamn charts), Tommy leans in for a kiss, leaving Buck stunned.
The two then plan a beer date. Following the monumental episode, Buck continued to explore his sexuality, coming out to his family and best friend Edmundo ‘Eddie’ Diaz (Ryan Guzman), in addition to developing a closer romantic bond with Tommy.
