El Barcelona Queer Film Festival (+Literature) ofrecerá proyecciones de películas inéditas y clásicos LGTBIQ+, además de organizar encuentros con autoras destacadas.

La primera edición del festival se celebrará del 25 de noviembre al 1 de diciembre en varias ubicaciones emblemáticas de la capital catalana, como el Bar Ocaña o el Cine Maldà.

Este festival surge de la necesidad de dar visibilidad a piezas audiovisuales que, de otro modo, no llegarían a las salas de cine ni a las plataformas de streaming.

La programación del festival incluye estrenos inéditos en España, cortometrajes y videoclip musicales, con el objetivo de acercar al público obras que suelen limitarse a los circuitos de festivales, como ocurre con los cortos, o clásicos del cine que ya no están disponibles en las plataformas.
