Whether it was co-starring in the much-discussed HBO mini series The Idol or dropping queer banger of the summer “Rush”, 2023 has seen Australian pop icon Troye Sivan dominate the cultural conversation.
The actor-musician shows no signs of slowing down as we get into the cooler months, however, with a full-length album titled Something to Give Each Other due for release in early October.
And now, Sivan has once again jumped to the top of our minds after opening up about a surprising detail of his creative process in a new interview with Rolling Stone AU/NZ.
Specifically, the 28-year-old revealed that he sniffed poppers before posing for the single artwork for “Rush” in order to capture “the same flushed feeling” which amyl nitrite bestows upon recreational users. “If you go back there’s this tiny vein on my head,” the singer shared. “It’s my favourite part of the picture.
