Drag Race stars Valentina and Lolita Banana to host Drag Race Mexico. On 12 May, the two beloved queens revealed the exciting news during their appearance at DragConLA. “It is such a pleasure to announce that my comadre, my dear friend Lolita and I will be the host, the official hosts of the historical first season of Drag Race Mexico,” Valentina exclaimed alongside Lolita.

Like its predecessors, the upcoming international iteration of RuPaul’s Emmy Award-winning empire will highlight the charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent of the Mexican drag community.

It will also be the second series in Spanish following Drag Race España. Valentina and Lolita, the fourth and fifth former alums to host a series of Drag Race after Brooke Lynn Hytes, Rita Baga, and Nicky Doll, memorably shot to fame as contestants on Drag Race season nine and Drag Race France, respectively.

During Valentina’s season, the Miss Congeniality winner made waves when she iconically asked Mama Ru if she could “keep the mask” on during her Ariana Grande elimination lip sync.
