Troye Sivan has opened up about the red flags he looks to avoid while using Hinge. In a recent interview on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, the ‘Bloom’ singer opened up about his experience with the app, including his ban in 2021. “I tried Hinge, and they blocked me.
But then they actually fortified my account, like it can’t be reported now,” he revealed. When asked if he still goes on the app, Sivan revealed that he’s not as active on it. “I’ve [have] it on my phone.
I just don’t use it that much. I was excited when I got it. I probably used it really actively for about two weeks,” the Rush singer explained.
While Sivan admitted to taking a break from Hinge, he offered some sage advice to host Jackie on how to navigate the app. “I find it’s much better to if you are going to meet someone on the apps, meet them in real life as soon as possible,” he said. “[Dating apps] give you the illusion that you’re doing something about your dating life.
