Bachelorette star Gabby Windey has come out as part of the LGBTQ+ community in a new interview. The former Dancing With the Stars competitor, who first made waves on The Bachelor, revealed the exciting news during an appearance on The View. “I always want to live my truth and my story, so I have been seeing someone for a couple of months, and I’ve been keeping it a little more private because it is a bigger story and a bigger conversation because I’m dating a girl,” she explained.

Windey went on to say that her queer sexuality was always “a whisper in her.” However, that whisper got louder after she completed her run on the Bachelorette and Dancing With the Stars. “I didn’t really know to pay attention to it.

I think when this happens, there’s some shame obviously surrounding it, so I think I had to like a little bit navigate through the shame.
