Australian singer-songwriter MAY-A has released her latest single, ‘Something Familiar’, from her upcoming EP, Analysis Paralysis.
The track was previewed last month in a Pride collaboration with WEBTOON, on a webcomic anthology celebrating LGBTQ+ love. “This song feels like a sweeter sibling to ‘Sweat You Out My System’,” the former Amplify star explained. “Continuing the theme of being addicted to somebody that you’re not quite able to kick. “The sad familiarity of a person, their house and their lungs, no matter how much time you spend away from them, everything feels like it goes back to that time you were together when you see them again.” READ MORE: My Queer Faves with MAY-A Analysis Paralysis, MAY-A’s forthcoming EP is a seven-track project continuing her exploration and experimentation with now sounds and experiences.
