Kevin Bacon said the most recent Drag Race episode “came at just the right time”. In the latest season 15 episode, the top six queens performed in the “all dancing, all prancing” annual Rusical whilst paying homage to Bacon’s iconic musical drama Footloose.

In similar vein to Footloose, which sees a teenager (played by Bacon) attempt to overturn a small town’s ban on dancing, Wigloose: The Rusical takes place in a town where drag has been outlawed and an underground alliance forms to defeat the bigots.

Loosey LaDuca won the starring role as Heaven Bacon, a “teenage drag queen ready to shake things up,” while Anetra played the role of Mama Bacon, her wise drag mother.

Mistress Isabelle Brooks took on John Lithgow’s role as the town’s narrow-minded leader, with Sasha Colby as Carl, Preacher Teacher’s obedient husband.
